This year, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce released it’s 10th edition of it’s annual “Best Buys” list. High schools are recognized for offering the highest levels of academic achievement for the lowest cost to taxpayers. This year the study looked at 349 Indiana public high schools and charter schools, and recognized 3 schools in Hendricks County for their value.

Out of the 349 schools that were researched, only 132 were named to the “Best Buys” list. Taxpayers in these communities are really getting a great value for their tax dollars. The study also looks at ISTEP+ scores, graduation rates, SAT participation and scoring, and Advanced Placement scores. Test scores are then compared to total revenue spent per student.
