“Group offers to buy Hilbert mansion”— Indianapolis Star
The plan is to use this extravagant property as a gathering place for intellectuals to discuss business models and strategies. It would be similar to the Aspen Institute in Colorado and Washington D.C. The buyers are the Maryland-based Roosevelt Group, and they would call it The Carmel Institute.
According to the article, “Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard said the institute would provide an ideal use for the mansion and its 40 acres, which have been on the market for two years.”
